Painting Birds and Wildlife

This past summer we had the pleasure of sitting on our porch at the country house observing the birds and wildlife in our backyard. It was so exciting to see hummigbirds, gold finches , house wrens and chickadee's at the their respective feeders. I was able to capture some amazing shots. I have really enjoyed capturing birds in their habitat on paper and canvas. Chickadee's are the least shy and seem to be the most friendly.
The picture on the left is a pastel and the the pic on the right was painted using acrylic paints.
