Spring Fever

Lace Cap Beauty  Acrylic on Canvas 16" x16"

Here is another floral painting that I just finished. I have wanted to paint this subject for over a year. In our Cambridge garden we had a beautiful Hydrangea bush that would start out with pure white petals. After a week or so the petals would gradually change to these beautiful pastel shades. I took  a few pictures but loved this cropped version the best.

Tina, I've just experienced spring after coming for a visit to your site - thank-you! Yours is a wonderful interpretation of the hydrangae blossom!
