Windswept Pines

Painting in Progress- Windswept Pines- Acrylic on Canvas
Well the last two weeks I spent in bed with a terrible cold. It sure did knock the stuffing out of me. I finally felt better a few days ago to start painting again. The winter landscape has changed a lot this week because it has been warming up and the rain is washing all the snow away. It sure does feel like spring today! Yesterday I took up a painting that I started a few months ago. I hope to get it finished to a place that I feel it's done. These two pines are on one of our favourite trails above the gravel pit. I love their windswept shape and that they have survived on the edge of the cliff with out falling down.

Looks good. I like tree's windswept shape as well. The snow looks good too.
